The newly refurbished Fitness Suite offers fitness and exercise programmes. It is staffed by a team of qualified, friendly, and experienced instructors.

The Fitness Suite houses a full range of Nautalius cardiovascular equipment and Technogym equipment for strength training. All our fitness equipment is user friendly and of unrivalled quality. Why not drop in and let us show you round.

You will always be given a warm welcome by our staff members.

 After your induction with us we will track your progress and regularly update your programme as required. We work closely with you to help you achieve your fitness goals.Please feel free to contact an instructor for more details or any special requirements you may have.Before you can use the gym you will need to go through an induction process, one of our fitness team will go through your medical and exercise history, look at your goals and finally show you how to exercise safely and effectively. This process is normally split over a couple or more visits to allow you to take everything in, however if you are a regular and confident gym user we can normally speed the process up. The cost of the induction for non members is £22, this will entitle you to up to three visits with an instructor. For members the cost of the induction is included in your first months membership.

Activity Referral Scheme for Mendip & South Somerset residents

Here at Wincanton Sports Centre we can accept clients who have been referred for exercise by their heath professional.The scheme is managed by pro-active who recieve referrals from your local surgery, physio or dietician.

The referral runs for 3 months and costs £65, this includes 1-1 appointments with a fully qualified instructor who will arrange an exercise and activity schedule which can include fitness suite, group exercise classes and swimming and we have now added a cardiac rehab class to compliment the range of activities on offer.
